I have several going into lockdown. Got a couple of cute photos as I did a last candle/check. You can see the head and beak in

one, and, a couple are way down past the pencil line, close to pipping into the air sac! I just may have a couple of early hatchers.

My hatch is finished, I won't be joining in anymore hatch alongs now as I'm not hatching any more eggs. I may try some of my own button quail eggs later on in the year tho so we will see. Out of my eggs I have 6 little ones zooming about. These were left over eggs from my previous hatch (the seller sent me extra) so they were kept in fridge. A bit of an experiment for me but all the eggs I set were fertile and developed a couple didn't make it to the end. But it's a good hatch rate considering! I have my favourite from this batch too 😍, I hope it's a hen 😬

All 4 of my chicks have officially hatched!! I haven’t got a chance to take a picture of all 4 as it’s pretty chilly outside this morning, but they are all yellow like their mommas (the hens that laid the egg are buff silkies).

One of them has black stripes up and down it’s wings, don’t know where that came from lol, but my rooster is a calico silkie so who knows. I have really enjoyed this hatch-a-long, you all are so friendly and helpful. ♥

Day 11 no eggs viable 😭
Not sure if its the eggs, shipping or the incubator
We'll be trying again this weekend with a new batch & incubator.
I am hoping for the best with the new incubator!

Get it calibrated with...calibrated thermometers. Also a good hygrometer too
