We have a group of Brahmas and Cochins that we are allowing to breed as part of our Brahma color project. We have barred, white, silver laced, golden laced, black, blue, splash, white, partridge, and pumpkin cochins. We have Dark Brahmas, Light Brahmas, and Buff Brahmas. These are all large birds and may be Brahma, Cochin or a Combination thereof.

you said "project".
what is it that you are breeding for, do you have a goal in mind?

Yes, We are using our cochins to make new colors of brahmas. I love brahmas and cochins and are also working on pumpkin blue cochins as well as other colors like blue partridge. I like to have as many "colors" of birds around as I can. lol. I just love playing with color genetics.

Well, they are young, but the pumpkin color is coming in nicely. The dad is a solid pumpkin cochin roo with a chocolate colored tail. The mothers were blue cochin hens. They are similar to lemon blues, but the blue is dark and the pumpkin is a darker red. Here is a pic of a 3-4 week old.
