I just put a pic of a paint eggs that hatched today on the auction listing....Another spotted baby! So far I have hatched 100% paint babies from these paint eggs.

how old is the oldest baby paint that you have hatched and has the coloring changed? I have one baby that hatched looking paint (breeder of my birds has paints so I was not totally surprised by a silkie baby hatching white with black spots similar to your photo) but that baby after 8 weeks, you'd never know it was the same baby. it's no longer white but a grizzly gray color. here is a picture of my baby at 4-5 weeks old- it's the one closest to the water with a white head.

My oldest paint baby so far is 3 weeks old and its still exactly the same color. JEN
