I am on a phone and can't update the original post easy. I have 2 pens now. one has a black copper roo (sired by pinkchicks roo) over my 5 best breeders from last season. the second pen has a black copper roo over blue and black coppers (several have copper hackles) these are this year's pullets and are laying some really nice color eggs. the egg in the three egg picture she is in that pen with seven sister that lay about the same color. very happy with egg color from the new pullets.
