We have a lot of sandy soil on our property. I put some in the pens and it's wonderful and easy to clean up. The chickens love it!

Will these hatch all lav or black and split and where in Ga are you located ? Just wondering if you are close enough for a pick up instead of trusting the po ?????

These will all hatch lavender. I have only lavenders in this pen. I am not far from you at all. Located in Waverly Hall, GA.....probably less than an hour away. In fact, someone from Newnan is coming tomorrow to pick up a roo.

Very pretty birds! I never saw the lavender color before. Seeing buff orpingtons at a man's house 3 years ago sparked my chicken fever. I resisted it for 3 years but finally caved and got my 6 buff o's and 6 RIR. Depending on how this project plays out I may get more birds later. Thanks for posting those beautiful pictures.

Thank you! I love the Orpingtons.....have blue, black and splash and buff, too. Be careful.......I started out with one coop and pen......and now it's starting to look like chicken village down at the barn!
