12 week Lavender Orpington gender

None of those are cockerels. They're all pullets.
Beautiful birds.
I am very new to all of the chiken vocabulary so pullets mean girl "teen" chickens and cockerels means boy "teen" chickens? I love to know the correct verbiage to use :) and I am happy they all seem to be pullets! This makes me very happy. They are so beautiful and I love them!

Yep! I believe that they are chicks until about 6-8 weeks old, then pullets or cockerels until they reach one year of age. After that they are officially a hen or a rooster.

That is correct! :)

I couldn't call it on this one, so I agree with those who said wait a bit longer.

On my Orps, the long tail feathers were a giveaway when they arrived rather than hackles or sickles. Plus they were bigger than the pullets.

Esp. those two with the tail feathers sticking up in the 'fan/hand' shape....... hens for sure! When the tail feathers are not in a consistent shape or form and even, it leans towards cockrel. At around 12 weeks or so (depending on breed) you then may also see on cockrels, the two long feathers growing on the top of the tail area.
