12 week old Blue Orpington Pullet or Cockerel?

The darker wing bar makes me think cockerel, but I really don't know. It has some funky saddle feathers, they really don't look fully male or female to me? The comb isn't large or overly red though? I have no clue, but I'm following to see how this turns out!

Thank you for keeping us updated. I'm still wondering how many of my own lavender orps are females. I'm hoping you have a pullet so that I can hold out hope for my own. Lol. Good luck.

2x Me too ... Pullet

This is a picture of my two at 7wks, told they were pullets The one on the left is a Cockerel & the right a Pullet. They are now 14wks, he's not crowing & not cockerel feathering yet but I know Orpingtons are slow maturing. Still waiting to be certain

If that is a purebred Orpington, then it is a cockerel. An Orpington pullet at that age should not be as lean as yours is. It should be fluffier. The dark bar on the wing also indicates roo. For comparison, this is my 18 week old lavender Orpington pullet (light colored one in the back)

One of my Black Australorps has driven me crazy this year, I think I've finally decided it's a pullet. If it weren't for those darn dark wing bars I would say pullet without hesitation. That is a really pretty bird you have, I love the splashing it has.

I am by no mean good at sexing hahaha
But I would say slow developping cockerel. It’s that face...
