Looking a bit like a cockerel with that wild hairdo. Pullets have a more rounded head and the crest feathers do not taper at the tips

My 12 week olds have saddle feathers already take a look for those. Near the tail base, real pretty Orange thin feathers

Yeah I'll post one tomorrow I have two other ones that look different and I'm almost 100% this one is a roo!

Congratulations! It's a boy! Unfortunately for me, my entire hatch of tolbunt split for goldlaced polish turned out to be cockerels. All five of them

It is a chicken - and a cockerel (young roo). If it were female it would be a chicken too - the chicken is the species, not the sex. A female would be a pullet (young female) or hen (mature female)
