That’s exactly how I feel. And helping the kids develop a deeper appreciation for what goes into our food is an important lesson too. I just have to psych myself up for the process.That sounds like a good idea. Just think that it is unlikely that someone would get those roosters, definitely because you live in the city, and even if they did get them, there is a chance they could become food anyway.
It also may sound bad, but you put the time and money into raising those roosters, so you might as well get something in exchange.
