12 wk old Jersey Giants - black comb

Hey! Here's a picture of my 12 week old Jersey giant. My other three all have red Combs. She, however, has a black comb. Is this common? Will it turn red as she ages? There's no chance she's a rooster, correct? Her feet are the same size as the other ladies. Mostly I'm wanting to make sure she's not a rooster!!

My first BJG female had a black comb for quite a long time. Turned red as she got close to laying.

She's not a rooster but your other Jersey Giants might be. That would explain the difference. Could you post picture of them?

Actually, it's okay if they are. Long story but I'm only keeping one Jersey giant. I was raising a flock of birds for a friend and me. I'm picking and keeping one of each variety for a total of 5. And she doesn't live in town so she won't mind a rooster! Thank you for your feedback on Pearl!
