The gal has a mix LO is one- I am getting hers because she had AC in the mix. I already have that but I want more- I am also hatching LO from meyers. This gal is north of Grand Rapids.

I have a problem.

I set eggs the other day. I dont know if they counted here or not.
These eggs are no more due to an all day power failure yesterday so...

I'm setting more eggs right now. They will actually be due on January 1, 2021.

Do we count my first total set number or just this current one?

How to Handle a Power Outage
If you experience a power outage longer than two hours during the first few days of incubation, it is actually better to chill the eggs and get them in a range of 41° - 68°F. This can easily be accomplished by putting the eggs in the refrigerator.

This method can be followed up until the 14th day of incubation, although losses can be expected the further along the eggs are. Another option, especially late in incubation, would be to take steps to limit heat loss. This can be done by keeping the lid on the incubator and raising the temperature in the room. The metabolic heat of the embryos will keep them warm for a little while after the power goes out.

The eggs that I lost were a week in. They all died.

I just set more a few minutes ago.
I'll have her scratch the first set number off and start over with the ones I just set, thanks.

One time i had 11 eggs and 4 power outages! Depending on how long the power outages were I put them on hand heat warmers and by my fire place and all 11 hatched.
