@orrpeople, do you have any eggs set that will be hatching between 12/28 & 1/4?

Probably not. Close, but the 6th is my next batch.
I'm hanging out here for no really good reason, except to cheer folks on and see cute chick pics!!

My eggs just started so I'm not 'in' this hatch a long but thought I'd stop by anyway.

Brooder house is ready! New linoleum laid down and further up the sides, new shavings and it smells so perty For now. This was supposed to be the duck house, but they never went back in. Might as well use it for housing peeps.

Spent hours cleaning it out and fixing the sides. Brooded ducks in there about 6 months ago and found that they like to poop on walls. Today I moved the 8 week old batch out into the run. 10 pullets, 2 cockerels?! Not sure how I managed that.
