My Olive eggers and a leghorn mix decided to come early.Still have a ways to go. those wyandotte eggs are bigger. my smaller eggs always seem to hatch sooner.have a couple pips though! love seeing all the new chicks!!

I completed lockdown this morning at day 15.5. 29 went into lockdown with 2 probable quitters. I did it very quickly because i saw a couple possibly pipped. i lowered the temperature a bit this round as I had too many early hatchers on halloween.

Congrats! How many hatched?

2 are still in the incubator,but 22 of the 33 eggs hatched. all 6 of my leghorn mixes hatched,and all 6 are males. leg shank sexlinked So next batch is set for those. all but 2 oe hatched,it's the wyandottes that didn't hatch as well as I expected.
