Walked by this morning and there is Mr and Mrs laying down behind her first egg. They were such a curious pair, obviously enthralled with their egg that I snapped a photo. He is a tailed blue Araucana and she is a Cream Legbar.

I recently got two double yolkers in a ROW from one of my hens who lays elongated eggs. None since then, though i've been eagerly checking her nest box on a regular basis.
