If there isn't any development after 7 days then it sounds to me like they weren't fertilized. If you open an egg that has been incubating you can see if anything at all started.
Nothing did start...what a bummer. I have no idea what went wrong though, the incubator seems clean and tidy. Everything seems to be functioning too. Is there anything else that may cause no development in the eggs?

I pulled 1 of my older eggs out of the incubator today to candle on Day 4 cause it was a bit on the smaller side than the others but I couldn't really tell if there was anything going on in it or not so I cracked it open and found some minor cell development and blood. Kicking myself for not incubating it longer along with the others but at the same time, gotta watch out for those potential bad eggs that may or may not explode :sick
It is ok! It is better to open the egg to see what is going on rather than to just toss it. That way you will learn better to see what is going on when you candle

With no development it sounds as though the eggs were not fertilized. The temps would have to be very low to not see any development of viable eggs.

We have all of you as maybe setting eggs. Any updates?
You can change me to a definite yes!!!! I finally got my first homegrown eggs yesterday so if my order doesn’t make it by the 23rd, I will just set whatever HG I collect
