Day 7 here and 6 of 8 have wiggly little embryos in them.

The other two look to be clear. I checked on day 3 as well and popped in another couple eggs to hopefully make up for the two I wasn't sure about at the time. I'm glad I did as they are definitely still clear and the two replacements definitely have something growing now.

These eggs are from two of my own silkie pairs....not sure why both girls had 1 egg out of 4 that just didn't want to start but oh well. They should have been fertilized so maybe they just quit extra early before blood vessels developed. I'll pull them day 10 and see.

Me too. I love hatching the ones with the muff/beards. His are beautiful.

Ugh stinks when that happens. Can't wait till I'm just hatching my own eggs again and no more shipped in ( other than maybe for a fun not needed breed). I was getting 90-100% hatch rate from any eggs my own birds laid.

I am personally SO over shipped eggs. Can't wait to hatch my own again!

Good luck to you @cppeace. I am in the same situation, only a few eggs left with veins. Just hoping I get at least 2 to hatch.

Ugh... We all have a bad cold over here. I haven't been sick in a while. It's bound to happen. My husband and I will be two weeks out from our second covid shot on Monday. , so not worried about covid. I just feel miserable. Pity me, someone..anyone. .

I'm hoping my 6 week old Cornish chicks come in about a month so I can more easily mix them all as still chicks. Could be anywhere from now to early May so we shall see.

Soo i Candle eggs beacuse yesterday i was moving incubator, driveing and take eggs out for 1 hours.
Soooo.I Candle 2 eggs and SAW MOVEMENT IN both
I know they can die in days to come but am just super happy that they make it throw yesterday craZy drive

Last year one chick hatched 2 days before others and it was so hard, poor chik was crying whole night we could not sleep..
He was so loud.. and he had food, water.. Heat..
He stop crying when i put another chick after 2 days..i mark that loud chick and keep him he is Today 10 months old beautifulll roo
Floki and he is not so lonley anymore.. He have 17 hens
