Ugh... We all have a bad cold over here. I haven't been sick in a while. It's bound to happen. My husband and I will be two weeks out from our second covid shot on Monday. , so not worried about covid. I just feel miserable. Pity me, someone..anyone. .

Last year one chick hatched 2 days before others and it was so hard, poor chik was crying whole night we could not sleep..
He was so loud.. and he had food, water.. Heat..
He stop crying when i put another chick after 2 days..i mark that loud chick and keep him he is Today 10 months old beautifulll roo
Floki and he is not so lonley anymore.. He have 17 hens

Did you try adding a stuffed animal for it?

Hi i have question, so i have forced air incubator and temperature sonde should show same temperature everywhere i put her but in some parts of incubator i can se on sond she goes from 37.2 to 37.7 celsius and in other from 37.2 to 38.2?

It’s normal for there to be different temperatures throughout. Just rotate the eggs around the incubator every day or so. Otherwise, some chicks are early, and some are late.

I have chicks hatching today! So far I have 3 Blue, 1 Black and 1 Splash Maran, and 2 Pita Pintas.

Thanks a lot acctualy this was problem last year chiks hatch 3/4 daYs diference, am Today on day 11, and i turn them 3/4 times a day .so is it to late to rotate them , i guess better late then never?

I put 10 in lockdown: 2 late quitters, 7 hatched and 1 left to hatch.
