12th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I have set my eggs, right at noon MST. I set 26 White Leghorn eggs from the University of Connecticut, 12 Hedemora eggs from a local keeper, and 15 eggs from my flocks, for a total of 53 eggs in 3 incubators. In the one RCom I didn't use the dividers and in the other I did. Leaving them out gives me more room for eggs, but it may also not allow for proper turning, so I'll be keeping a close eye on the ones without the dividers, and once I remove eggs that are not developing I will probably have room for dividers in the other one if it looks like I need them. Each incubator has a Govee temperature and humidity sensor, which I started using last year thanks to the tip from @ChickenCanoe, they are awesome tools that let me check temperatures and humidity using an app on my phone.View attachment 2568608View attachment 2568616View attachment 2568617
@ChickenCanoe is a good egg.

That is so annoying, isn’t it?

Very! I tried to hatch from them over the winter and not a single egg developed. And I wanted those little footsie-pajama-wearing bantam babies soooo bad 🥺

I have these 3 eggs I set from a health food store, due April fools day.

They'll share a hatchday with my Zinnia :love

My PR hen went broody a few times per year. Good mama. Beautiful feathers.

Seriously, you two need to think of funny names.

I did want to name her something themed to her hatch date, but then the other girls in that hatch got flower names and Zinnia just kind of stuck on her. 😁

Edited to fix a grammar mistake; I was too tired to type correctly when I posted this apparently.
