Other than taking a few extra days, I think all of the refrigerator eggs will hatch just because you doubted! Yes, though. You most certainly need another incubator.
Lol! It's so true! I was anticipating 30%.

You should always plan to incubate. It’s the law!Lol! It's so true! I was anticipating 30%.I mean, some of them were almost a month old and were never stored properly for hatching. How was I supposed to know?

I can't even begin to count how many chicks I've hatched in years gone by.. and yet I might be too excited to sleep tonight!"I have to wait until tomorrow. I have to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is not that far away. I know you probably won't make it that far, but you have to try." I say to myself as i set up my incubator.
Well, you win the contest in my book for most *encouraging* "helper" and chicken math instructor!I wonder if I can enter. My eggs came all the way from my coop!
I ended up putting the new incubator on my dresser. Testing, testing. Seems to pass the cat scan. Cat no longer interested in incubatorI already turned on my incubator to make sure that it's ready for tomorrow to put the Naked Neck egg's from my flock in there.
So. I added two eggs at noon. One fresh, one I suspect is too old. If Matilda has listened to my begging at all, I'll add a third egg later today. But for now, mine is 2 eggs. Just because I want to participate! And Easter Egger chicks for Easter Weekend is just too good to pass up!This is so cool! Argh, wish I could join but my girls are hiding their eggs where I can't find them. I may still set whatever is less than a week old and see what happens. My last bunch I set 11 eggs, 1 was infertile. Of the 10 remaining, I had a 100% hatch rate. They are 4 weeks old now. My first Easter Eggers, the plan was to wait until they start laying to make sure they lay blue/green eggs. I mean, I have about 50 chickens. I don't NEED more chickens. Do I? Can I? Should I? I have 30 hours left to figure it out![]()
Highly approve! My husband and I went on a roadtrip Thursday to get eggs from 3 different places. Furthest was about 150 miles from home. One lady gave me a full extra dozen! My incubators are going to be full now! (I'm an amateur and only have 2, LOL.)I had 30 of my own eggs... so I just had to drive to the next town (23 minute drive away) to buy another 18!!
I purchased from these guys this time. Satisfied with everything and will order again. You can also purchase foam egg packing. https://featheredhatchery.com/foam-egg-shippers/
