Everyone in the path of that storm stay safe. It hit us last night and there have been a lot of power outages. We got lucky and it rolled over us in about 15 mins. We had a single 53mph gust that didn't do any damage.

I can't win for losing with this hatch. The cats unplugged the incubator and I forgot to check it for two days because we still had guests here. Plugged it in. All good, right? Right?!?! Nope. The temp shot up to 104 and my phone didn't alert me.

So far everything is fine, though. I did find an egg I didn't notice was cracked until I candled it. At this point I can't tell if my hatch is behind, ahead, or on schedule. Still fine, though. I refuse to panic.

lol, Well good for you for not panicking. There's only so much you can do in that situation. I hope some still hatch for you!

I'm not too worried about it. As of this morning I have a broody and I'm ordering more chicks when I get the chance.

Huh? What storm? It rolled through here between 3 and 4 am this morning and I was just snoooooozing away.. Found out we had nearly an inch of rain too... I didn't hear a thing.

I have shipped eggs on the way, should be here tomorrow. There should be 13, but I need to see what makes it through the mail first.

@casportpony, I set my eggs two days earlier, will they still count?
