I just might keep it thanks to yall!
It’s a hard decision to get a new incubator. I like each of mine for different reasons, but fully intended to buy a new one, and sell all of these. Now I’m like, “well, this one is doing fine, and I know all of the quirks of each one. Maybe I should keep them.”

Careful, that mentality brought me to like 7 Incubators at some point, lol. Only 4 Incubators will fit on my hatching counter (plus one mini Brinsea) so I finally parted with the others. I sold the mini Brinsea too because did I really need a tiny bator with the other bators? Anyway, last year once I finally narrowed it down to 3 NR360s and 1 IncuView, I broke one of my NR360s. 🤦‍♀️ Leave it to me. Lol

I want a Brinsea, but I like this too. I won’t get another until I sell what I have... maybe. If one breaks, I need another...

Candled yesterday (day 14).
From my 15 bantam silkie eggs two glowed clearly and I took them out (eggtopsy showed one was not fertilized and in the other was a tiny pale embryo, perhaps sadly quitting around day 5). From the 13 developing eggs in the incubator 1 does have a saddle cell.
From my friend's 20 bantam Brahma x Deutsches Buschhuhn-mixes eggs 5 of the rose-brown shelled eggs glowed clearly and I took them out (eggtopsy showed 4 were not fertilized, one did have a tiny grey point, perhaps sadly quitting day 2). Some of the blue and green shelled eggs I could make out (with difficulty) veining but many of them I couldn't make out anything other than normal looking aircells except one green egg even didn't show an aircell, just: darkness. So now I'm sniffing in the incubator every time I refill water and hope to catch possible sulfur smells in time.

I clearly see air cells in my EE eggs but they are so dense it's hard to see anything else. The blue coloring goes all through the shell and not just a coating on the outside. I'm doing the same as you, daily sniff test... don't want stinky eggs in the bator. Other than that it's a wait and see.. 7 days to go... Where's my paper bag?
