Would lining the box with foil help with that? There has got to be some way to block at least some xrays from getting through so you're not relying on people to read and do their jobs.Just been corresponding back and forth with the breeder. She has an excellent hatch rate with her own eggs and has no reported issues from others getting eggs from her. She suspects the eggs may be getting x-rayed when they come through Hawaii, even though she labels them not to be. So frustrating.
). I wonder if pulling the dud eggs out helped, as I wasn't seeing much progress on their size until I did. I imagine some humidity comes from the eggs themselves, but would it really be that much? 
So I'm not the only one that does that!SAME!! I have this mad but productive habit of cleaning the house or doing outside work when I am super stressed by something.

@LadiesAndJane - I just did a quick google on this issue and it looks like it might, but depends to some degree on the thickness of the material used (i.e. thick aluminum would actually be more effective than thin lead.) Several layers of heavy duty aluminum foil probably wouldn't hurt.
