Yes! She is the favorite of everyone, and I do mean everyone. Even me. I try not to have favorites in our little flock of six, but......you know how it goes. A while ago when she was about 8 weeks, she sprained her leg, and didn’t get better, but worse, so she had to be taken to the animal hospital that agreed to help, and in total the visit was SEVEN HOURS. We were in the car the whole time. But hey, they fixed her up, so I’m thankful. She became very sweet over the time she had to have a house stay. I love her quite a lot. That she is! A very pretty girl! Theres just something about that wide eyed stare with those amazing cheeks!I very, very briefly owned a similar looking EE who had these little hawk like brow ridges that gave her this constant snobby glare that was totally wrecked by those floofy cheeks. Poor thing was a bad mix for our flock though.
I know, and she doesn’t look much like a Silkie. That’s what’s confusing me!The only chickens with blue earlobes that I know of all had or have Silkie genes to some degree.
You have recent pics? Her earlobes remain the same color.
