It's 0 here in Colo. Springs. The birds are spending a LOT more time inside (credit to what intelligence they have). No one is looking frost-bitten or anything, I'm breaking up and refilling their water frequently. etc, etc.
So... frozen eggs...
I was making scrambled eggs yesterday, and when I cracked the ones that had frozen before I got to them, they had a waxy-looking ring (not completely circular, but you know what I mean) in them. It felt oily and the eggs cooked up great! I guessed it was the fat content freezing, like the oil on the surface of a soup when you fridge it. Is that right?
Is there any problem eating frozen eggs? (I hope not, since we already did...)
