This is her. Upon closer look into this site though I'm seeing she may be a golden cometDo you have pictures of the ISA brown?
Your right because she is bigger than my uncle's 6-7 month old chicksYou said you had her from a week old, are you sure she was a week old at that point? I don't think it's impossible for her to lay but that's awful young
I'm not positive, this is my first time owning chickens and I got her from rural king where they knew just about as much as I did. Would never buy from them again but hated seeing these babies in bins dying. From the charts I found online though she looked to be a week when I got her.You said you had her from a week old, are you sure she was a week old at that point? @MysteryChickenSo I have a hen that I've raised from a week old, and it's been about 12 weeks since then. I originally thought she was a rooster, it's my first time owning chickens. Until yesterday when I couldn't find her, and then did locate her sitting on not one but two eggs. How?! She's an Isa Brown if that helps.
I've only had her for three months and she didn't have feathers when I got her so I don't think she could be that oldYour right because she is bigger than my uncle's 6-7 month old chicks

I can understand that. It's likely she was much older than that, but the lack of proper care stunted her at the time. That chicken looks much older than that. Couldn't say how old she is but I'd say she's a solid month older than 13 weeks Sometimes feed store's accept chicks that people have raised for a while than realized they couldn't do it.I'm not positive, this is my first time owning chickens and I got her from rural king where they knew just about as much as I did. It's common for a chicken to lay today's egg in the same spot as yesterday's egg, and then sit on both for a bit. So the two eggs might not have been laid on the same day.
She is certainly young to be laying eggs, but I agree it's more likely that she laid the eggs rather than the even younger ones layingi
I actually keep them inside at night to avoid predation and she laid them both inside, in a very open spot where I'm sure they weren't at the day before. That was my first thought aswell but I check in on them multiple times at night and in the morning. It's common for a chicken to lay today's egg in the same spot as yesterday's egg, and then sit on both for a bit.
