I started with 4 chicks and this is them 13 weeks later. I think it only have 1 rooster, but please tell me if it is still too early to tell. Do they develop at different rates if they are all born on the same day?

There's only one that strikes me as a cockerel, too, the black laced one.

Sad to say though, those are blue laced red Wyandottes[one with black lacing, the others blue and splash], not Barnevelders :(

Barnevelders would have noticable marking/color differences between the sexes, and they also have a slightly different pattern [double laced as opposed to just laced] and a different type of comb.

Oh good to know! This is our first time with chickens and the local lady who sells chicks said they were barnevelders. So are Wyandottes good egg layers?

Wyandottes are generally good layers, they are a dual purpose breed and lay brown eggs, not the best, but not bad at all.

Pic 1 - Black Laced Gold in front is a rooster
Pic 2 - Blue Laced Gold in center is a pullet
Pic 3 - I think I can see some pointy saddle feathers coming through which indicates rooser, but comb says pullet. I'd wait a few more weeks on this one
