13 Week Old Chicken Labored Breathing

Ya I guess so, it's just scary when we're attached to them. How is your's doing?

I checked on her and she is laying down and I think she is breathing harder than before. I think we are going to separate her from the rest of the flock.

She is eating some now but when I moved her a little bit I noticed some green poop. What does that mean? It it an infection?

green poop can mean infection. you should give her antibiotics as soon as possible. when I am not sure what they have I give them baytril or tetracycline/doxycycline as they heal more diseases.

Ok, we'll get some. Our local feed store has a product with tetracycline. We have offered some electrolyte already but we will get some antibiotics. We live about 20 minutes away from town though.

I would. I didn't do it before and now I have hens with damaged reproductive tract. they didn't show any symptoms so I assumed they were not sick. I would try a 7 day treatment and see the results.

We got her some antibiotics and treated the other birds, however she unfortunately didn't make the night. She's dead. It sucks because she seemed to be improving.
