Ugh! All the eggs are perfectly clean-except for the silkies, which are the ones I really want to hatch. They make there's just a little too dirty for me to want to hatch.

I keep adding fresh, fluffy bedding, but I think it's because they're muddy and have fluffy feet.

Hoping they’ll be easier to see through than my last experience with green Super excited to see what we end up with! Random neighbour eggs from my mom’s neighbour FTW lol

They are often the hardest to candle! Especially if they have Marans in the mix.

I'm honestly thinking about buying eggs from my neighbors. They have this tiny little bantam hen I'd kill to have chicks from. She's about the size of an OEGB and her tail is almost twice the length of her body. She's adorable. But they also have some really nice LF.

My Spitz have FINALLY started to lay...

I guess I need to plug in the incubator today.

And now, I have a bunch of bantam eggs, a few Spitz eggs... and not enough room in the incubator!

Humm... I might stack them all in the first 4 days until I can candle....
