Well…I jumped out of bed this morning, ran to the incubator so excited…and nothing, not a pip, a peep..just nothing the excitement is killing me! Come on chicks…HURRY UP

X3... I'm SO impatient! At least todays pretty full for me... maybe that will help.

I think I want to set up my Wyze camera to watch while I'm away...

I woke up this morning to an external pip!! So excited! I could hear cheeping too, so anytime now, this part of hatching is the most stressful. The external pip and if they zip properly and make it to hatch and the day goes SOOOO sloooowwww. I sure hope I get lots of fluffy beards!!

11 of my calls were internally pipped yesterday and 3 had externally pipped so I made some safety holes and popped some caps. Everyone I can see is still alive and chewing this morning. Im trying to decide when to chip away at some more shell

I swear I’ve read on here that call ducks often need assistance since their bills are shorter? So it would give them time to hatch themselves if they can and you don’t lose them if you can’t assist right away. Would love to hear if that’s anywhere close

My last emu hatched with its leg facing inwards. Currently holding it in a tight shirt and making it hold it straight underneath it. Hopefully it helps

@Pyxis have you had any hatch with a kind of wonky leg but end up just fine?
