My SIL is going to see if he can get this thing running this weekend. I'm not sure where Atwater is, but if close enough I can even meet you.
I'm up to about 22 eggs. Some are BCM, some WM and the others are from the Games. Thise are the chicks in the pic. I have wheaten Games and BCM and Wheaten roos over them. Was hoping since my blue AM was stolen I'd hatch some out like him, but not seeing any. These should be good sized birds no matter what. My smaller Games prefer to give their eggs to the neighbors next door
I figure if they lay there the eggs belong to them. My younger hens are all Wheaten and pretty good sized. They lay like crazy, so most of the eggs are theirs.
The feathering on the chicks are coming in really pretty. I'm going to be rehoming the ones I hatch out for a while and then saving about 12 pullets for later for myself. I've never processed, but the roos should be big enough for that too.I just need a little more space to grow some out.
I hear another egg song! LOL Seems like I come in here and they start laying. hehe, so looks like more than 22 will be available. Just wish my EE that lays the green aggs would start back. I have the only eggs she has laid in the bator, so been two weeks since she started. hmmmm
Sorry I haven't been on much, but I'm just getting better after 3 weeks with the flu.
