14th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

So far Queenie has hatched 6 of 9 eggs.
I only got a picture of the 1st brave little rooster. Has to be a male, because he came right up and pecked me.

Haha…Same here. I had originally told myself that I’m not keeping any chicks this year but then I changed my mind.

I got some pretty ones that are just the cutest, and if they are hens i don't think ill be selling them as i said..

Same here, half of the chicks I've hatched so far are not supposed to be keepers because they're out of hens paired with the wrong rooster for my breeding program.

...But this pretty little baby might just have to stick around anyway if she's a pullet

No more hatches yet, but one of the BIG eggs did a BIG wiggle today around 11:51 am, and I looked but didn't see an external pip. Later I happened to look at the bottom of the egg... Lord help me, it pipped opposite the air cell.

This is the problem for me when I hatch mixes. They’re are so many interesting one I want to see what they grow up to look like!
