Up North when it's hot, Down South when it's not.
It doesn't seem to matter how many times people say, "Your chickens will be fine, as long as they are dry." folks still are concerned if their temperature drops 40F. LOL Nice deep straw, nice shelter, lots of fresh air, and the birds are just fine.

In fact, the 14 little ones, just 7 weeks old? They were fine too. Not a problem.
They were screaming and chirping for food and nice water this morning, though. Active as can be.

Two of my little chickies were under 5 weeks old were locked out side of their coop. (they wondered away) it was 0 degrees, they did fine and survived from wild dogs!
