15 Week Black Copper Marans

I've been calling this 15 week old BCM "Harold" for a couple of months but I'm not so sure anymore. Any guesses or clear markers as to the sex of this bird? I'm new to this and appreciate your expertise!

It looks like a pullet to me....I could be wrong though. I think by 15 weeks, it's comb and wattles would be brighter and larger for a rooster.

15 weeks seems a little early to have a comb and wattles that big and red, but there is no male specific feathering that I can see. I think it is an early developing pullet.

I have a Dominique hen that I thought was a cockerel for a long time, but turned out to be the opposite!
A couple of our girls have large combs!
Just wanted to say it isn't uncommon for a hen to look like a rooster!

I have to confess that I'm a little bummed because I was hoping for one rooster...6 out of the 11 chicks were straight run. I realize how incredibly lucky I am but the odds seem so crazy to me. Thank you all! I appreciate you so much.

Yes and they've been like that for weeks. Way ahead of everyone else. This one has been tricky!

Check your local CL or state thread here. I've told fifty-leven people they have cockerels today. Odds are that one lives in your state.
