is it too early to intergrate this pullet to the adult run, she has been sharing a coop with 2 silkie cocerels who have just started to crow.....not sure what to do at this point

Has she had any exposure to the rest of your flock and if so, for how long? Other than the silkies does she have any other hatch/broodmates?

I would've already integrated her weeks ago, but it can be more difficult to integrate just one chick if she's solo.

yes she is solo, but i have 2 adult buff orp already in the flock, and they for the most part would sit all day on the other side of her coop..i do let her out for a few hours a day to mingle with the other girls...there is a peck here and there but nothing major...but i do find the newbie wanting to go back in the coop with her silkie friends

If they already had some time together in the run/yard with few problems then it sounds like she might be ready to move in with the other girls. If you don't already have multiple feeders available, now would be a good time to put them in, just to help reduce any tension and to ensure that she can eat with minimal harassment.

Her instincts will tell her to go back to the coop she's currently using, so you'll need to block off her access to that coop and may have to manually put her into the new coop at night. As long as she doesn't get bullied on the roost she should start taking to it after a few days.

the reason she is solo, is that when the silkies were 4 weeks old one of them got eaten by a raccoon, the raccoon pulled her right thru the wire door, the other silkie must have been too far back for the raccoon to reach so he was spared....but that morning not to leave the silkie all alone i went to the feed store to buy a little buddy for the silkie and they just had buffs, i should have bought 2 but im still new at this chicken venture, and i wasnt thinking that some time soon she would be with the older chickens, the silkies are going to be in their own coop
