Today's update:
Oklahoma weather
We were wearing shorts last week and today we have snow flurries and freezing! Maybe Alice will stay on the nest a couple more days since it's too cold to go out with the babies now! I'm going to leave the last few eggs in the nest as long as she's willing to keep sitting! Once she gets up with the babies and doesn't come back, I'll grab them and stick anything still alive in the incubator!

Day 20 here and my husband SWEARS he heard chirping and saw one egg bouncing around. For the last 4 hours I’ve been spying on them every 5 minutes and have seen and heard nothing.

I think he’s more excited than I am and imagined it

It’s lockdown day for my first ever hatch. I have 11 viable going in lockdown. This is a dry incubation, RH ave 25-35. Even so, two Marans have 14 day air cells- nothing I can do about that.
The BC Olive, Swedish Flowers and Opal/Cream Legbars look great!
I bumped humidity to 65-70%
Is that too high coming from a RH of 35%?
I’m using NR360.

My silkie eggs are being put into lock down after supper Thursday night.

We’ve got a chick! This was a dry incubation with about 40 to 45% relative humidity until lockdown and it’s been about 65% humidity since then. so far so good. This chick popped out within six hours of it pip and was a very fast zipper!

This one is blue bantam cochin hen with black bantam cochin roo! I included pics of them too! I'm thinking this baby's gonna be blue!
The bantams are my hobby flock! This is the 2nd chick I've hatched from this pair, and they've both been perfect! They have also both hatched on a snow day so their hardy little suckers!
