I have another hen that went full on broody yesterday, would you like to borrow her? Her name is Oreo and she is a Dominique.
ETA: if I had room I would get some lavender Marans eggs.

You have missed a pancaked shaped hen that pecks and bites really hard, also screams at you when you come near, as well as the fun of baby chickens hatching (they start peeping) before they stick their heads out from under Momma. It is a lot of fun, but the same long 21 day wait.

Which ever you chose, broody or bator, it's worth the time and trouble. Such a wonderful experience. Almost like being at a human baby's birth!!
