Guys. I'm shook.

My brother just found my only rooster dead in his tractor coop. He was in perfect body condition and was fine yesterday. I hadn't been outside yet today but gave him food and water yesterday.
I don't understand what happened.
:hit
He was supposed to go to fair, too. And he was my breeder so there's that.
Oh I'm so sorry!!

I read it and also printed it out so i have it on hand thank you It is also good to know because my 7 year old is the one in the morning to let the chicken out to go outside.

Our first chicken was a cockerel, he got a little aggressive when we got him hens, (pecked DD who was about 8 or 9) She walked around with a stick when she was in the run and never had to use it. Just the presence of the stick was enough, after DH gave him a wack with it when he pecked DD the first time.
