16 eggs, 3 species, 1 homemade incubator: Will it be done?

I see that ;)
I am keeping an eye on that thread, I am fascinated and want to find a solid answer.
Me too.
I was suppose to be reading more tonight about possibilities for your rooster.
Doesn't look like I am going to be able to do that though.
My eyes are getting heavy.

So these are the threads everyone hangs out on haha. I always see them but never click because I can’t keep up. Don’t hate me for not reading 125 pages, but could I get a brief update?

@Redhead Rae lost your quote. Tiny looks mottled?? If so, he can't be from one of the chocolate hens. He'd have to be full cochin from one of my carrier hens with the mottled rooster. They are all pretty though. You got a nice color assortment!
I’m not sure. Last I checked, his feet looked white.

I’ll get more pics of him soon.

Grew up raising New Zealands for meat - I remember many a night having teriyaki rabbit thighs... delicious.
Funny story: My dad was so fast at butchering them that he could get the heart out while it was still beating. I thought this was very cool and had a little friend over when it was butchering time. I grabbed the still beating heart and held it out saying, "LOOK!!! It's still beating!!!" She puked everywhere and her mom had to come get her. I didn't understand at all what the issue was. Farm kids...
:gig:lau

I hope my son is that blasé about butchering animals. He has a good start though (he’ll be two next month). I’ve let him watch while I slaughtered birds and plucked them.
