16 eggs, 3 species, 1 homemade incubator: Will it be done?

Its a duck egg and you can see all the layers of it but in the middle layer there is no embryo but there is little zig zags all across the middle of the egg and it doesnt look like veins and its a dark red color

Sounds like a blood ring, which I think indicates that it is dead and could potentially “explode.”
A picture would help a lot.

Ok thanks this was my first time trying to incubate

Okay so out of 42 eggs set, 15 are confirmed developing.
3 died and 1 that I'm pretty certain was fertile died.
The rest are clear.
So somewhere around 46% fertility.

Oh and I saw the ducklings today!
