Hi,
New person here, first time posting, but I've been lurking for quite a while. I think the first bird in question is a pullet. At 19 weeks old a leghorn can be getting ready to lay. My white leghorn girls combs were always larger than the other pullets, but were a girl baby yellowish color. Then over the past two or so weeks, their combs have grown tremendous amounts and turned red and are now starting to flop a bit. They started laying a few days ago and they're about 22 weeks old.
