Not telling XD plus it’s really more than that cause I have four currently set, but they hatch each week (some are hatching tomorrow!) and I reset them! Another batch hatched on the 5th!

Candled my eggs today (day 9). 7 clears/quitters, 15 still going, 4 of them I wasn't sure about and they're marked but still in the incubator. Only one Chantecler made it, the rest either quit or were clear. Two of the others are developing.

Candled today and removed clears. I'm glad I set extras . This one is looking good.

I have chicks and turkey poults due on Easter Sunday!

Some of the female (hopefully) chicks we ordered arrived at the Farm store yesterday. We ordered these to help offset little roosters that turn up in our Hatchalong hatching chicks. The Farm store said the hatchery shorted them many chicks and in some cases sent substitutions. The four we ordered that came in are Turkens-2, BLRW-1, Black English Orpington-1. The chicks the hatchery didn't send are Crevecoeur and Silver English Orpington. Now they have sorted through everything that came in or didn't come in they called to say we can have a refund or go in to choose from the substitution chicks that were sent. We'll got see what they have tomorrow. I mean I'm too crazy of a chicken lady to say just give me a refund when other chicks are on offer . Hopefully they will have some left and the snow won't be too bad to drive in.
