16th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

I got these to put in the 29th, for the 19th April hatch. From a feed store, local eggs and they were washed (i know not to wash but for $5 i will risk it.). I have hatched from her before. I am hatching them for the darker eggs.

My eggs are set 28 total true green whiting, French black copper marans rooster .

Mine were set yesterday, just so I can have a better hatch date for us, one day sooner. A whole bunch of fluffy butt silkies should be here in about 20 days!

I have set some eggs in the past week!! 15 polish, 18 OE/EE and 3 call duck! Oh, except for 3 of the eggs are under a broody so I don’t know if that counts toward totals!

Oh and don’t forget my 6 emu eggs that are nearing day 30 of incubation!

I'll be setting! I'm hatching a handful of Easter Egger crosses from my own flock. I only have one rooster right now, so Olive Egger rooster over blue egg laying EE hens, a buff brahma, a Silkie, a blue Laced Red Wyandotte, and some other crazy mixes.
Plus some purebred RIRs, they're for a neighbor. They're due a bit earlier though, I set the majority about a week ago and a few a day since.

Schijndelaar set on the 23rd.

Project color Ameraucana set on the 25th.

Silver Ameraucana set on the 27th.

Officials have my totals.

2 incubators loaded. Going to have to keep an eye on one, the fan is fritzing out. Soonest a replacement comes is the 9th.

Eggs are collected, I will set them tomorrow. Unfortunately the Chantecler eggs ended up being too old to set.
