16th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

My first buff, finally! I was so excited I couldn't wait to look it over and the incubator was all fogged up so I stole her out of there. Bad no-no but I couldn't help myself! I've had fertility issues and have tossed dozens of their eggs so switched in a lemon cuckoo roo several weeks ago and bingo, got just one, but so tickled!

Oh, several other ones hatched too in this batch. I registered with two batches for this hatchalong, five days apart.

Going to take one last check for humidity level before trying to catch a few winks. Anxious to see how many of the eggs that are in lockdown will hatch. 35 of the original 36 are on my mind almost constantly now.

Woke up to 12 hatched. Incubator was so crowded, I had to move them to the brooder. Less than an hour later and #13 hatched.

Thank you! I'm not sure, I'll probably let one of siblings name it, hopefully something Easter-y. Really hoping it's a girl, haha. I hate raising single chicks.
