That's what they look like to me! They're gorgeous birds. So maybe I have the so-called D’uccles?
I'm jealous of your leghorns, I've always wanted some but no one ever has them.

thats true here in NZ we dont really have hatchery's in the same way here our hatchery's only have brown shaver type chickens and cobs (our version of Cornish cross)Buff Brahma bantam. Booted bantams are an extremely rare breed of chicken from the Netherlands. Most hatcheries don't even carry them. Almost all hatcheries, including the ones TSC usually sources from, carry buff brahma bantams. OP even said how his TSC very rarely has a variety. To not even have common birds, I can't imagine they'd ever get in something incredibly rare like booted bantams. Especially multiple ones. I understand that sometimes a rare bird slips through, but not more than one usually.
How does it look like a booted bantam? It looks nothing like one.
My brahmas have vulture hocks too.
I'm not trying to be rude either, just thought I'd mention that it's not a booted bantam so there wouldn't be any disappointment.
I'm not saying it's a brahma either, since they're definitely missing some brahma characteristics. I'd guess looking at the pics again they're mille fleur D'uccles without face floof.
That's pretty common with hatchery birds.

can i see a better photo of her comb? thanksChicks are doing well.
I found out that the White mystery bantam is very likely a Splash OEGB- just with the wrong skin color.

She looks just like this one:

(except leg color is a little different- which is common in TSC hatchery-quality birds.)
Here he is:The OEGB now looks like a Red Pyle OEGB.. likely a cockerel.
My SLW’s head looks exactly like that (from MMH) but she already has black and silver lacing coming in on her wings, so clearly not a mixup. New to chickens so unsure if that is normal or considered an issue. Why does this “SLW” chick have a golden head?

It happened before when I purchased a “SLW” but it turned out to be a GLW.
But this one actually looked like a SLW. Will the gold go away? Is it leakage?
