18 Week old pullet moves fake eggs out off nesting box to sleep in it

i have 2 18 week old white rock pullets i tried to teach them how to roost and only 1 of them likes to roost on the bar at night the other one will kick the ceramic eggs out so that she can sleep in the nesting box. what do i do?? (some days shell sleep under the roosting bar on the floor)

i thought it was also cute at first but i don't want her to do that at the same time

Maybe you can set her on the roost at night? Maybe she doesn't know to go there

when i put her up there she jumps right off

when i bought them at tractor supply they were labeled Egg Layers but know they look like white rocks and white rocks are dual purpose chickens

No, I mean are there currently any chickens laying eggs. If not then block off the bestinh boxes.

Yeah, just cover them up if no one is laying. Once it's dark outside you can go out and put her on the roost if shes not in them. She shouldnt jump off if it's dark out.
