18 weeks old. Where the **** are my eggs?

I have a hen that just laid her first egg at 17 MONTHS. Yes, months, nearly a year and a half old.
She's a D'Uccle, is lowest in the pecking order and lives a repressed existence. Maybe she'll get more respect now.

No rooster
There has been scratching in nesting boxes
Still giving grower feed
They can't hide eggs from me

My post sounded aggressive but I was just messing around. I'm just excited to see all my work payoff.

If they are scratching in the nesting boxes, then it won't be long! One of mine started laying at 17 weeks, but two of the others didn't start until 20 and 22 weeks. I still have a buff orp that hasn't started laying at 25 weeks.

I will say I decided one day to give them a nice bowl of just plain Greek yogurt. The next day I had the first to lay in egg. Now probably just coincidence but worth a shot. Plus it is way too amusing watching them eat it. They were trying to wipe their beaks off afterwards on the ground. But they definitely enjoyed Even if it was just a coincidence
