19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

here is what you do when your hen is not laying but its almost there you grab her flip her upside down and start squezing the belly towards the vent and with luck and egg will pop out but you got to catch it in time so it doesnt fall and break.
BTW people im just joking.
No, no, no...you turn the hen bottom down and shake her like a stopped-up bottle of ketchup....

Awww thanks! she and her sister snowflake are near the bottom of the pecking order but beautiful tame birds, i worry that their white color makes them targets, but personality wise they are easy to handle, and Betty's eggs are a beautiful medium to dark brown, so far my darkest ;-)
Sweet! BTW, I meant to tell you my actual name is Megan. I know you listed yours earlier

Wow. This is my second 2 egg day in a row!! Seems Dorothy has finally gotten with the program and is laying in the nest box; right next to Aretha's egg.

Such good girls!!

My refrigerator is full of tiny eggs; they're just too cute to eat. Think I'll make miniature deviled eggs out of them.

We have a Betty, too. She is a Barred Plymouth Rock, though. She was in the nesting box forever before I gave up and came in for lunch. She is Nelson's favorite hen. Sometimes I feel jealous.

Awwwwww! She is the best!

Here is our Betty as a teenager helping us build the Naughty Box for the White Leghorns we had to rehome:

She gave us a very nice peewee egg today! She spent some time in my lap before that. I half expect she'll start using Nelson's lap as a nesting box next.
