Blondiebee what is a AAA?

My eldest RIR is 24 weeks now, and looks about ready to pop - but I don't want to count my eggs before they're hatched, so to speak.

The other two RIRs are 19 weeks and don't have well developed combs yet, and they're joined by an Ameracauna I ended up renaming. She's very pretty but kind of mean, so I named her Kaswell, after the Drop Dead Diva character.

So, the great daily egg hunt is starting here soon :)

I have 3 pullets that were hatched the first week of May. I haven't seen any squatting behaviour but the BO's are starting to redden up. I am so anxious to have them start laying, especially my Marans with their beautiful mahogany eggs!

Speaking of naming the girls; my wife named 3 of the six Black Australorps we have. The "lead" girl is Lillian, named after my mom, the mean girl is named after one of my sisters, and one is named Sneakers, because she has a thing for "inspecting" your shoes if you're sitting in the yard with them! We think all six are laying, but we've so far only gotten a max of 4 at a time (several times). They just recently started getting to medium size, but most of the eggs are at the upper end of small.
