19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

I've gotten tired of yelling at my hens to lay eggs. I told them I don't care anymore if they lay eggs because I'm just going to eat my moms hens eggs and they taste way better than their eggs will ever taste. Lol Don't know if that will get them laying.
some reverse psicology always works

good ol' reverse psycology works like a charm!!

Our pullets are finallly 19 weeks! I've heard lots of noise, seen some squatting, and some crazy looking combs. My nesting boxes have table tennis balls in them. We look for eggs daily, but nothing yet. We have an australorp, 3 Rhode Island reds, 2 silver spangled hamburgs,
3 blue andalusians and one splash andalusian. Come on eggs!

As of yesterday all of my girls are 25 weeks. The two Golden Comets are laying like champs but my EEs haven't given any signs of laying. And they aren't even friendly. I'm threatening them tonight with the crock pot.

Ah, the old Crockpot routine....LOL make sure you take it into the yard and bang on it with a ladle...My Americauna was the 2nd youngest to lay out of my girls (17 weeks!) which to this day I find odd because most people say their EE's and Ari's and Ameri's are late bloomers but, my Xena is very special :)
I am still clinging to this thread with 4 hens laying and the occasional out of Silver (my 5 yr. old second-hand SLW) but nothing from my 13 week old ducks. I know 13 is still way young, but I'm starting to get eggcited! I got spoiled with chickens that started young though so I don't want to get too high of hopes! Eggspecially because the days are shortening and some people told me that the ducks may even carry over into Spring without even starting this fall!!! I hope not, I'd like to get at least a couple eggs from them before winter! They are projected to lay end of this month or early November....sigh...we'll see!

Also to anyone that has laying ducks.....I may have asked this but I wasn't planning on making seperate nest boxes for them (as I hear ducks seldom lay where you want them too anyway) If they lay in the straw of their house that will be good enough for me....do ducks need fake eggs around lay time like chickens or they just don't care?

ok so one of my girls gave us this wumbo egg btw wumbo is the new size of egg i just invented this wumbo egg weigths in an awesome 3.10 oz its freaking huge
