it's official, all of my 27 1/2 weeks old girls are laying! Isis finally gave me a light bluish green egg today! so now I am just waiting for Peach, a 21 1/2 week old Bantam cochin x EE... i loved the wait, they are so enjoyable and it was exciting even if a bit disappointing, but once it started... it was only 2 weeks before they all started!
... I think they are faking it just to bother me... LOL!

Yes, very pretty birds.....I have heard Buff Orps are great chickens, but slow to begin laying, however it should be any day! They are fat and fluffy! PS, Ivy is squatting!
I have 4 of these ladies at 30 weeks old. No eggs yet. Look at the size of those bums! ahhh! Today I thought I heard one singing the laying song but found no egg. wah!
